Claire Torpey

Claire Torpey is a renowned hair stylist, with experience in high end salons on the prestigious Regent St. in London and owning a boutique salon nestled in the brownstones of Beacon Hill in Boston. It was her dream since she was a child to be a hairstylist in the United States, and she truly brings that childhood passion and drive to Abbey Road Hair Colour and Beauty Bar.
Starting with a UK apprenticeship, Claire brings the expertise and creativity right to the South Shore. With an emphasis on “City Hair, South Shore Living”, Claire specializes in hair coloring, painting, and styling, and brings the latest, most innovative techniques and creativity to hair design. She has experience in Platform work for Sebastian Hair Care Company, teaching classes and coordinating/performing shows in color and design, travelling between coasts for the latest trends. One way she loves displaying her work for people to see is through annual photoshoots, in which she gets other local businesses and models involved to make it a community event.
Claire’s education has been with Vidal Sassoon, Redken, Windle London, Bumble & Bumble, Sahag, and many more.
